Debugger provides complete control ofprogram execution through an easy-to-use graphical user interface orcommand line interface. It offers dynamic analysis, multilanguagesupport, and built-in editing that eliminates the need to switch betweentools. Debugger now features debugging of optimized code and sharedlibrary support.The ProWorks SourceBrowser lets you rapidly examine and modify yourapplication's source code. SourceBrowser also displays function calltrees to help you understand dependencies between application functions.In addition, SourceBrowser incorporates two C++ specific tools,ClassGrapher and ClassBrowser, so that C++ programmers can easilynavigate through classes.The ProWorks Analyzer, the first tool of its kind running on the Solarisoperating environment, provides you with the information you need tofine-tune your applications. Using the Analyzer, you can examine fullyoptimized production code and obtain key information about processingtime and memory and system use. The analyzer also includes unique codereordering functionality, which can automatically increase yourapplication's performance. This can be used to speed up your applicationand determine the optimal way to link large applications.Also included in ProWorks are: FileMerge, for compiling and mergingsource files visually; MakeTool, for viewing and controlling system buildprocedures; and ProWorks Manager, for launching and managing individualdevelopment sessions. ProWorks also uses ToolTalk messaging, the CommonDesktop Environment standard for messaging, enabling you to extend yourenvironment with your favorite CASE tools.
